- **Event Description**: As it so often feels like it does, Spring has flown by and before we know it we will be overheated, overcommitted, frazzled and red-cheeked, living big in the hot abundance of Summer.
There is no better time than summer to enjoy the people we like to keep company with, travel to all the places we spent our hibernation ruminating on, to attend festivals, parties and celebrations, and to have our hands in the dirt, tending to all the outdoor spaces around our homes.

Even if you don’t intentionally mean to live a life according to the seasons, you might find your schedule different in Summer anyway, simply because we have so much more daylight to work with. Before we know it, we will be outside at 9pm on a July evening marveling at how much light there still is at that hour.

In this interactive workshop, we will discuss all the ways we can use the knowledge of seasonal living to cool the heat and ground the busy-ness of a full, enlivened Summer. We will touch on all the pillars of seasonal living that adjust with each turn of the wheel including wardrobe, food, social habits, self care rituals and more through the lens of ancient Ayurvedic wisdom blended with ancestral Appalachian tradition, adapted to being a modern human on Earth in 2026.

We will practice eye washing together, which is one of the best ways to bring cooling energy into your life during the hottest season of the year. All you will need to bring is your journal and a towel! May 31st 2-4:30pm. $50.
