The session will offer tips, ideas, and exercises from first-hand experience, interviews with retirees, and several books written by experts. You will explore creating your own guidelines and finding your retirement style.While financial planning is a critical step to a happy retirement, this workshop does NOT address retirement investment strategies.As this is during dinner, please feel free to bring your food and drink.About the PresenterRebecca Holderness recently retired after 40+ years in leadership roles in business development, trade shows, and marketing at SAIC and Leidos. Fearing retirement, Rebecca kept postponing the date (by four years!) until both a pending company reorganization and a health challenge made her rethink the timing. Once she took the retirement plunge, she wondered why she’d waited so long! While volunteering and facilitating workshops for The Women’s Center, Rebecca offered to create a new group session designed to help others who may be timid of taking the plunge or who may not be feeling fulfilled in their retirement.PLEASE NOTE: WORKSHOP IS IN PERSON AT THE WOMENS CENTER IN VIENNA, VARefund, Cancellation, No Show & Re-Scheduling Policy:Participants who register for the workshop and do not attend or cancel their registration less than 24 hours prior to the start of the program, will not receive a refund.Refunds (not including the processing fee) will be issued with 24 hour cancellation notice after the program has completed.
