This is a FREE event hosted by members of the community that want to help send kids back to school with fresh haircuts, one new pair of tennis (or gym approved) shoes and a backpack.

Please note that haircuts will not be provided on-site at this year's event. Instead, those who sign up for a haircut will receive vouchers that can be redeemed at a local barbershop or salon for their haircut services.

Event will be held on Saturday, August 1st at Grace Community Church, 1030 N Main St in Vidor (across from Casa Ole)

While this is a free event, REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED and IN PERSON ONLY!

You may go to The Life Center on Monday's from 10:00am-2:00pm STARTING MONDAY, JULY 6TH.
At 135 West Bolivar in Vidor.

**Monday, July 27th will be the FINAL day of registration.
We will be at the Life Center this day from 10:00am-7:00pm**

The child you are registering does NOT have to be present to register, however THEY MUST be present to receive the shoes on August 1st.

Want to help?

Cuts & Kicks is ONLY possible due to amazing volunteers!
Our biggest and immediate need is of course, SHOES!
You can buy them now, don't worry the size, we need them all!

You can also look for shoes hanging in different business locations with specific sizes in the near future.

Donated shoes may be brought to the Life Center any Monday between 10:00am-2:00pm or 5:00pm-7:00pm

Another great opportunity to help is by cutting hair!
If you are a local barber or hairdresser, could you DONATE a voucher(s) for a child to come to your shop and receive a free haircut?
This year only we will be doing vouchers instead of haircuts at the event.
