Hello Thrifters!
Step aside escape rooms and boring shopping malls, this self-guided adventure is where creativity, collaboration, and quick thinking collide. Participants will race through curated thrift stores, tackling hilarious challenges, and styling their way to victory. It's problem-solving, bonding, and bragging rights all the while supporting sustainable fashion. Warning: may cause spontaneous high-fives and fierce but friendly competition!

What: Ultimate Thrift Hunt (think Amazing Race meets Fashion FUN)

When: Saturday, December 6th starting at 10am
__
Where: Victoria BC, meet everyone outside of Murchies at 1110 Government Street to start and then continue through curated thrift shop spots with your chosen thrift hunt team (if you choose to shop with a team). Keep in mind, the event is an opportunity to meet new friends so we recommend getting out of your comfort zone and thrift hunt with someone new.

Why: To find hidden gems, complete fun style missions, and earn bragging rights as Thrift Champion of the Year!

How it works:
1. Once you register your ticket, you will receive an email with the Thrift Hunt Missions document and the Treasure Thrift Hunt map (this step is very important, if you did not receive this email, send us an email to
aXRzdGhyaXZlbnN0eWxlIHwgZ21haWwgISBjb20=).
2. Bring the Thrift Hunt Missions document and the Treasure Thrift Hunt map with you on the thrift hunt (IMPORTANT).
3. Arrive outside of Murchies on Government street and meet with everyone that also registered.
4. Create teams, fill out the first part of the missions, decide on the time everyone meets back after the hunt.
5. Around 10:15am embark on your downtown Victoria thrifthunt.

✔️ Bring comfy shoes, wear an outfit that is easy for trying on clothing items (no change rooms) (dress for the weather), a phone for memory capture, bottle of water, a pen + your Thrift Hunt Missions document and the Treasure Thrift Hunt map, and your A-game!
✔️ IMPORTANT: once you register for your ticket, keep a watch out for your Thrift Hunt Missions document and the Treasure Thrift Hunt map email!! It will be sent to you shortly after you register. Very important to watch your email inbox for any emails from us regarding the hunt.
Also if you're driving downtown, take note of parking as we do not want anyone to get a ticket during the hunt so bus or carpool and park in a parkade if necessary.
Please make sure you have something to eat before you arrive as it's going to be an intense fun time!
