Whether through stroke, aneurism, sports or automobile accident, recovery from brain injury requires extensive patience and support of family and friends, with serious dedication to rehabilitation.  The cost of this support is often unaffordable to those most in need.Victoria Brain Injury Society (VBIS) is a registered charity providing services to survivors and their families at no cost to them. Our support has no time limits, because recovery from brain injury often takes an extremely long time. We have over 800 clients registered and receive about 20 new requests for help from survivors each month. We cannot provide service to all of them, our wait list is too long and our funds are limited.
