Run The Errands : An Unsanctioned Grocery Dash

Ever thought of turning your everyday errands into a race?

Welcome to Run the Errands! A fast-paced, community-driven grocery run through downtown Victoria.

In teams of two, runners will receive an envelope containing a shopping list. Your mission? Make your own route, complete the list, return to Frontrunners, and cross the finish line before anyone else.

Expect speed, strategy, and surprises, plus a few side challenges along the way for bonus chances to win prizes from HOKA.

• An exclusive HOKA bag for every participant
• Winning team members each will recieve a pair of shoes from HOKA
• Access to limited HOKA prizes through side challenges
• Food and Drinks back at the store.
• A chance to support a meaningful local cause while having fun

• Lights are mandatory (headlamp or lightup vest). It’ll be dark, you can’t start without one.
• Your fastest running outfit, this race will move quick.
• Running shoes (or try on a pair from HOKA’s fast fleet).

• This is an unsanctioned event, roads and businesses will be open.
• Respect traffic laws and all pedestrians.
• When shopping, please be kind and patient, absolutely NO pushing or disruptive behavior.
• Remember: we’re here to have fun and uplift our community, not frustrate it.

• 5:30 PM – Check-in at Frontrunners (1200 Vancouver St)
• 6:00 PM – Race begins!
• 7:00~8:30 PM – Prizes, food, drinks and community hangout.

Your registration fee goes entirely toward supporting the Soup Kitchen.
All money collected will be given back to participants to complete their shopping lists, and any leftover funds will be donated directly.

All purchased items go to the Soup Kitchen, which supports hundreds of people with meals every week.
Our goal: Donate over $1,600 worth of goods to help keep their shelves stocked and spirits high.

We’re proud to partner with The Soup Kitchen, a local non-profit located at 740 View Street in downtown Victoria.

Every weekday morning, The Soup Kitchen opens its doors to serve hundreds of guests a warm breakfast and a comforting bowl of soup, no questions asked. Their mission is simple but powerful: to provide nourishment, dignity, and connection to anyone in need.

The organization relies entirely on donations and volunteers, with over 100 community members helping prepare, serve, and support their daily meals.

Through Run the Errands, every item you purchase and every dollar you spend will directly support The Soup Kitchen’s efforts to keep feeding our community with kindness and care.
