Thanks to the OUR DWTN Ideas Fund, we’re bringing the Kwanzaa Bazaar to downtown Victoria — a vibrant evening of artisans, live music, food, art & culture.

Throughout December, we’ll be sharing reflections on the Seven Principles of Kwanzaa, exploring how they anchor African diasporic creativity and community here in Victoria, across B.C., and beyond.
On December 31, 2025, we celebrate Kuumba — Creativity, the 6th Day of Kwanzaa, honouring our power to imagine, build, and beautify together.
🌍 For those who don't know, Kwanzaa is a non-religious celebration of African heritage, unity, and cooperative growth — open to everyone who believes in community and creativity.
