Before we ask “what happens next?” we need to know “what are we even doing here?”
This workshop gets into the foundations of building strong platforms: clear characters, rich locations, and grounded relationships. Once the scene is anchored, we’ll layer in point of view, character wants, and drive, giving our choices more weight and our stories more momentum.
You’ll receive notes, side-coaching, and peer support throughout the day. But more important than anything is the shared commitment that we are all respectful, supportive, and loving the art of improv!
Who is D'Arcy?
With an adoration of the human condition and an appreciation for the arts, D'Arcy loves anything that centers authentic emotions and relationships. D'Arcy has worked as a facilitator, producer, and performer and always strives to make every effort one that is inclusive, fun, and welcoming. Take all of this and you get an improviser who grounds his work with equal parts honesty and play.
He is a co-founder of The Bakery (2023-), regularly performs with Paper Street Theater's Masterclass program and was a cast member of their Mythos performance (February 2024), and works frequently as a workshop facilitator and producer.
