Leslie was the previous E.D. for three Divisions of Family Practice in South Island, Nanaimo and the North Shore. Previous to that she worked for Vancouver Coastal Health as the Assisted Living Manager and Chief Licensing Officer and taught at the Justice Institute of BC.
