Now, in an age of political uncertainty and shifting alliances, the 2026 Biennial is more than a conference — it’s a space to come together as a community of scholars, students, and policymakers who care deeply about the future of transatlantic cooperation.
The 15th ECSA-C Biennial Conference, “Canada and Europe – Carrying the Torch?”, will take place May 14–16, 2026, at the University of Victoria, a long-standing home of European Studies in Canada.
We especially encourage early-career researchers and graduate students to submit — the Biennial offers a welcoming, collaborative, and mentoring environment for new voices in the field.
