Beginner Tap Mondays North Studio 5-6pm with Dayna Szyndrowski

Beginner tap will introduce you to the fundamentals of the form. We will focus on musicality, coordination, and basic footwork. In this 8-week session, you’ll also explore some tap dance history through the Shim Sham - the classic routine known as the national anthem of tap. Hard-soled tap shoes are advised. Flat lace-up styles are preferable to higher-heeled tap shoes. If tap shoes aren't an option, hard leather-soled shoes make a good substitute (no rubber soles, as they can stick to the marley and make learning less enjoyable).
