- **Event Description**: I created this series of events to simplify the process of hosting for myself and for you in inviting others and planning your weeks. I will not be creating new FB events each time anymore - rather I ask you to use these as your reminder. My facilitation will likely remain lightly themed but the intention of the practice will remain the same each time. Thank you for supporting me in my evolution as a facilitator and in making this change that helps me a lot.

Authentic Relating is the practice of bringing our real, moment-to-moment experience into connection with others—sharing openly, listening deeply, and discovering what unfolds when truth and curiosity meet in relationship. It turns everyday interactions into opportunities for growth, intimacy, and understanding, while transforming conflict and difference into sources of energy and connection rather than disconnection.

Anyone can attend and no experience or advanced registration is needed. Authentic Relating Games nights are a practice space where we can try on ways of being with each other and then take new awareness of ourselves and others in connection into "the wild" of our lives and relationships. 

We’ll play simple, accessible games that invite sharing, listening, and presence in pairs, small groups, and sometimes the whole circle—an environment designed to be welcoming for both first-timers and seasoned practitioners. My containers often include somatic awareness and practices, nervous system & trauma informed information, as well as simple connection games and often play! I often support us with humor, validate our humanness, as I invite us into depth in connection with self and other.

Supported: $10 or PWYW/PWYC ... just show up dear - you are welcome here - your presence is wanted. PWYW/C - pay what you want or can. Its more important to me that we, as community, join together and practice and spread these practices than I "make money"
(That being said I do have expenses every time I facilitate and already subsidize every evening - and my costs are increasing. Hence the suggested prices.)

*** Authentic Relating Practices are only as potent as your willingness to practice them in the "wild". I highly value helping you bridge this gap and I encourage you to bring a friend. If you bring a friend who might not have otherwise come you can both join for $15 each!

The practices of Authentic Relating are something that I use, cultivate & openly play with in all my relationships. These simple techniques, when practiced in easier safe space of my curated games nights, become more and more integrated and, for me, continue to improve the quality of my connections. My ongoing commitment to this learning & experiencing deeper connection, being seen, heard and supported, informs my integrations and self and turns into my curated containers. 
Practically speaking, I have been facilitating AR since early 2023, have completed ART International's L1 & L2 The ART of Being Human course - as well as Level 3 which is a week-long residential facilitation training called The ART of Leadership. I have supported in the teaching of the L1 three times. I facilitate Connective Communication workshops with my company businessforhumans.ca
I also founded a local chapter of Sidewalk Talk where we offer heart-centered listening to people in public spaces - you are most welcome to join us in this Community Listening Project as a volunteer listener - ask me for details.
