Last summer we hosted three Community Pop-Up Potlucks (July, August, and September), and the response was amazing.
So many of you asked: “Can we do this year-round?”
We’re going to give it a try. 💛
Join the Vicksburg Third Places group for a casual, no-fuss community potluck focused on good food, friendly faces, and simply being together.
Bring what you can:
🥘 A dish to share
🥤 Your own beverages (social district drinks welcome!)
🍴 A plate and utensils for yourself
🪑 A chair if you like your own comfy seat (when at Oswalt Park)
What to expect:
✨ No agenda
✨ No program
✨ No pressure
Just neighbors getting to know neighbors.
🌳 When the weather is decent, we’ll host these in Oswalt Park.
🏠 When the weather stinks, we’ll meet at the Prairie Ronde Art Gallery instead.
🌦️ Weather note: We’ll confirm the final location and post an update by noon the day of the event.
📆 Plan ahead: We’re aiming to host these on the 4th Monday of every month, except November and December and major holidays.
Come as you are. Bring what you can. Stay as long as you like.
