A f|x|r és a Művészetek Háza Veszprém 2026-ban is meghirdeti a LOOP² videóművészeti fesztivált.
Az idei tematika az UTÓKÉP.
Vannak képek, amelyek nem érnek véget ott, ahol látszólag megszűnnek. Tovább élnek a szem mögött, az érzékelésben, az emlékezetben; visszfényként, rezgésként, halk nyomként maradnak velünk. A LOOP idei hívószava, az Utókép, ehhez a továbbélő látványhoz kapcsolódik. A fotográfia 200 éves történetének távlatából olyan jelenséget idéz meg, amely egyszerre tartozik a fényhez, az időhöz és a tekintethez: azt a pillanatot, amikor a kép már nincs jelen, mégis hat, visszatér, átalakul.
Az utókép a fotográfia egyik legfinomabb öröksége, de ugyanúgy a mozgókép belső természete is. A rögzített pillanat itt nem lezárul, hanem ismétlődni kezd; elcsúszik, feloldódik, újrarendeződik. A 20 másodperces loop ebben az értelemben nem pusztán formai keret, hanem maga is gondolat: a visszatérés tere, ahol a látvány nem egyszer történik meg, hanem újra és újra, mindig egy kicsit másként.
Az Utókép nyitott hívószó. Magába foglalhatja a fény nyomát, az emlékezés működését, a képek eltűnését és újraképződését, az ismétlés meditatív vagy nyugtalanító tapasztalatát. Kapcsolódhat absztrakt, kísérleti, narratív, fotóalapú, animációs vagy digitálisan generált munkákhoz egyaránt. Nem egyetlen téma, hanem érzékenység: figyelem arra, ami a képből visszamarad, és arra, ami benne még mindig mozgásban van.
A fotográfia jubileumához kapcsolódva az Utókép nem egyszerűen visszatekintés, hanem kérdésfelvetés is: hogyan él tovább a kép ma, amikor már nemcsak rögzül, hanem áramlik, ismétlődik, számolódik, torzul és újraalkotja önmagát? Mi marad belőle a nézés után? Mi az, ami eltűnik, és mi az, ami éppen ekkor kezd igazán láthatóvá válni?
Olyan egyedi, 20 másodperces loopolt mozgóképeket várunk, amelyeket egy négyfalas, immerzív kiállítótérben vetítünk le. A tér maga is egy loop: 360 fokban körbeölel, a vetített tartalom pedig folyamatosan visszatér önmagába – ez a dupla hurok élménye.
A szakmai zsűri által kiválasztott műveket 3 perces vetítési rotációban mutatjuk be a Művészetek Háza Veszprém – f|x|r galériájában.
Technikai paraméterek:
• Műfaji megkötés nincs: animáció, AI-generált tartalom, videó, kísérleti mozgókép – minden jöhet, ami a körforgásban gondolkodik.
• Leadási és vetítési formátum: 4xHD vagy 4x4K, tehát7680x1080
vagy 15360x2160
h264 vagy hap vagy notchLC kodekben es .mov kiterjesztésben, 30/60fps
hang: külön stereo vagy quadro formában .wav kiterjesztésben, 48kHz
• Időtartam: pontosan 20 másodperc, loopolható formában
• Tér mérete: négyzet alapú vetítőtér, 420 cm oldalhosszúsággal
Díjazás:
A Loop Négyzet nemcsak bemutatkozási lehetőség, hanem verseny is, ahol a szakmai zsűri az alábbi díjakat ítéli oda:
1. helyezett: 300 000 Ft
2. helyezett: 200 000 Ft
3. helyezett: 100 000 Ft
A kiválasztott munkákat két hónapon keresztül vetítjük a galériánkban.
A díjak átadására a megnyitón kerül sor.

f|x|r and House of Arts Veszprém are pleased to announce the LOOP² Video Art Festival 2026.
This year's theme: AFTERIMAGE
Some images do not end where they seem to disappear. They continue to exist behind the eye, within perception and memory, remaining with us as reflections, vibrations, and subtle traces. This year's LOOP theme, Afterimage, refers to this enduring visual experience. Marking the bicentenary of photography, it evokes a phenomenon that belongs simultaneously to light, time and the act of seeing: the moment when an image is no longer physically present, yet continues to exert its influence, returning and transforming itself.
The afterimage is one of photography's most delicate legacies, but it also lies at the very core of the moving image. Here, the captured moment does not come to an end; instead, it begins to repeat itself, shifting, dissolving and reorganising. In this sense, the 20-second loop is not merely a formal constraint but an idea in itself: a space of return, where the image does not occur only once, but again and again, each time slightly differently.
Afterimage is an open-ended concept. It may encompass the trace of light, the workings of memory, the disappearance and regeneration of images, or the meditative or unsettling experience of repetition. It welcomes abstract, experimental, narrative, photographic, animated and digitally generated works alike. Rather than defining a single subject, it proposes a particular sensibility: an attentiveness to what remains after the image has faded, and to what within it continues to move.
In connection with photography's bicentenary, Afterimage is not simply an invitation to look back, but a question directed towards the present: How does the image continue to exist today, when it is no longer merely recorded, but constantly circulating, repeating, being processed, distorted and recreating itself? What remains after the act of looking? What disappears—and what only then begins to reveal itself?
We invite submissions of original 20-second looping moving-image works, to be presented within a four-walled immersive projection environment. The space itself functions as a loop: it surrounds the viewer in 360 degrees while the projected content continuously returns to itself, creating the experience of a double loop.
The works selected by the professional jury will be presented in a 3-minute screening rotation at the House of Arts Veszprém – f|x|r gallery.
Technical Specifications
•	There are no genre restrictions. Animation, AI-generated works, video, experimental moving image and any other approach that engages with the idea of the loop are welcome.
•	Submission and screening format:
o	4 × Full HD (7680 × 1080 px) or
o	4 × 4K (15,360 × 2160 px)
o	Codec: H.264, Hap or NotchLC
o	File format: .mov
o	Frame rate: 30 or 60 fps
•	Audio:
o	Separate stereo or quadraphonic .wav file
o	48 kHz
•	Duration:
o	Exactly 20 seconds
o	Seamlessly loopable
•	Projection space:
o	Square projection room
o	Wall length: 420 cm on each side
Awards
LOOP² is not only an exhibition opportunity but also a competition. The professional jury will award the following prizes:
First Prize: HUF 300,000
Second Prize: HUF 200,000
Third Prize: HUF 100,000
The selected works will be exhibited in our gallery for two months.
The awards will be presented at the exhibition opening.
