Turn an old window into a stunning glass and epoxy masterpiece in this creative 3-week workshop! Using a mix of mosaic glass, crushed glass, handmade elements, and crystal-clear epoxy, you’ll design a colorful light-catching piece to brighten any space — indoors or out.
🌈 What You Can Learn:
How to cut and score glass safely and effectively
How to crush and sift glass into custom filler for texture and color
Use a cement mixer to turn scrap into beach glass
Adhere glass, marbles, tiles, and other elements to a reclaimed window
Design with studio-made glass dots, stringers, lace, bottle bottoms, wine rings, and more
Prepare a vintage window frame for mosaic and epoxy use
Pour epoxy resin over your finished design for a professional glass-like seal
Optional: Add chain (available for $3/foot) hanging hardware included
🖼 Materials & Notes: Windows are provided, but you’re welcome to bring your own Glass dishware is not provided, but feel free to bring pieces from home to include Epoxy is not included in the base class fee — expect an additional charge of $20–$40 depending on how much your piece requires Suitable for indoor display year-round and outdoor summer display
✨ No experience required — great for beginners! We’ll guide you every step of the way. Whether you love beachy styles, abstract color blocks, or bold sparkle, this class is fully customizable.
🛠️ Flexibility & Studio Access If you miss a Monday class, you can make up time during any of our six open studio sessions per week Open studio time is available throughout the 3-week course if you'd like to continue working on your window between classes.
It is important that all projects are completed on time and picked up promptly after the final class due to limited storage space
