Description: Join us for this unique and exciting 3-week watercolor painting course - The Colors of Winter. In this course we will approach color theory in a fun and simple way. We will teach you to see color through the way light dances across the canvas. We teach you how to see the light and the color it casts and how to paint cool winter blues. Learning color theory does not have to be hard; we will approach it one step at a time.

This course is appropriate for beginners and all levels interested in learning the fundamentals of color theory and watercolor painting. Throughout the course an experienced instructor will guide students step-by-step through the painting process as they create a beautiful winter painting of a cozy cabin in the woods.

This workshop takes place once every week for three weeks. Each session is approximately 3 hours long but may take longer if needed. This is a total of 9 hours of instruction over the course of the workshop. Students must register at least 24 hours in advance of the first class date.
