They will be taught the fundamentals of cooking and mixed media by an experienced instructor in a fun and relaxing atmosphere. During each morning session, students will learn about food traditions and preparation in different regions of the world. Each afternoon throughout the program, they will explore various art forms from different areas around the globe using mixed media. This class is held once per day for a total of 5 sessions. Each session is approximately 6 hours long with 30 minutes of free draw time/lunch break. This is a total of over 27.5 hours of instruction across the full program. Students must bring their own bagged lunch and a drink. This is a drop off and pick up class. Students must register at least two days in advance of the first session. Price: $350 per person for non-members or $325 for members. Participants must register for the entire program; attendance at individual sessions is not permitted. We encourage them to express their own unique imaginations and teach them how to do it with art. We may paint with brushes or hands, draw with crayons, markers and more. We may also explore other forms of art. We often include educational pieces into our programs to help expand the mind as well as the heart. Our main goal is to foster expressive creativity and build self-confidence all while having fun. We help them to grow and use their wonderful imaginations in an unlimited way.
