Throughout this course, students will learn how to create unique pieces of art with amazing compositions using multiple photo references. Participants will also learn about value and contrast as they apply to composition. The instructor will teach the concept of balance in composition, plus the importance of the process of developing composition by designing and planning before beginning to paint. This course teaches the basics of acrylic painting and expands upon them by introducing new brushes and supplies in a way that is easy to understand. Each session is approximately 3 hours long. We highly recommend attending all classes in the workshop, as each class builds on the last. However, we allow drop-ins for individual sessions. Price: $450 for the entire workshop for non-members or $425 for members. Pre-paid credits cannot be applied to this course.
