This course is Part One of Four of our '12-Week Colors of the Four Seasons' course for students who are unable to attend the full twelve weeks.

Recommended Ages: Teen through adult

Class Dates: Fridays 1/16, 1/23 & 1/30 2026

Time: 11am-2pm. Class duration may vary from week to week depending on project.

Class Format: ONLINE via Zoom. Customers attending this course must supply their own materials. A supply list will be e-mailed to you at least 4 days prior to the first session. Participants will receive a Zoom link via e-mail prior to each class session. 

Activity Description: Join us for this unique and exciting 3-week watercolor painting course - The Colors of Winter. In this course, we will approach color theory in a fun and simple way. We will teach you to see color through the lens of the way light dances across the canvas. We will teach you how to see the light and the color it casts and how to paint cool winter blues. Learning color theory does not have to be hard; we will approach it one step at a time. 

This course is appropriate for beginners and all levels interested in learning the fundamentals of color theory and watercolor painting. Throughout the course, an experienced instructor will guide students step-by-step through the painting process as they create a beautiful winter painting of a cozy cabin in the woods. 

This course takes place once every week for three weeks. Each session is approximately 3 hours long but may take longer if needed. This is a total of 9 hours of instruction over the course of the program. Students must register at least 7 days in advance of the first class date.
