As part of Dementia Action Week, we are hosting a full programme of activities aimed at raising awareness, supporting understanding, and strengthening our community.

We warmly invite residents, families, carers and members of the local community to join us throughout the week.

Schedule for the week:

📅 Monday 18th May – from 11am
🎨 Creative Expression Morning
A relaxed and enjoyable morning of creative arts.

📅 Tuesday 19th May – 3pm
🧠 Understanding Dementia
An EPIC training session led by our Dementia Champions. This interactive session will include mini activities designed to support learning and understanding.

📅Wednesday 20th May – 11am
💪 Stay Active and Engaged
A gentle exercise session focused on movement, wellbeing and staying active.

📅Thursday 21st May – 3pm
☕ Afternoon Tea
A special afternoon tea for those living with dementia and their carers.

📅Friday 22nd May – 11am & 3pm
💬 Family & Carer Information Drop-In
Families and carers are welcome to drop in for information, resources and informal conversations. We will be sharing guidance from the Alzheimer’s Society and offering space for questions and support.
