🇫🇷 Le stage POLYRHYTHM est conçu comme un laboratoire dynamique où chaque participant·e développe son écoute, son autonomie rythmique et sa capacité à dialoguer musicalement dans des contextes d’improvisation et d’arrangement spontané.
Co-facilité par Inna Onda (Line Tafomat & Mauricio Sprovieri), ce stage de 3 jours POLYRHYTHM est dédié aux groove lovers et autres geeks du rythme. Il propose une immersion dans l’univers du rythme dans toutes ses dimensions, en s’appuyant sur l’intelligence collective et les outils de la co-improvisation. Croisements de cycles, superpositions de cellules rythmiques, ancrage corporel du groove : il s’agit d’explorer la polyrythmie de manière sensorielle, progressive et vivante, à travers la voix, les percussions corporelles, le mouvement et la pratique collective. L’ambiance sera à la fois exigeante et bienveillante, avec une attention portée à l’exploration libre et au plaisir du jeu musical.
Le stage est bilingue français et anglais
important : ce training est pour un public avancé qui est BIEN À L'AISE avec les notions rythmiques de base afin de pouvoir profiter pleinement (et sans vous retrouvez en grande difficulté). INTERVENANTS
🇧🇷 MAURICIO SPROVIERI est un rythmicien affranchi doublé d’un percussionniste poly-instrumentiste visionnaire. Né à Bahia, vibrante région du Nordeste brésilien, berceau de la capoeira, du candomblé, de la samba-reggae, des musiques traditionnelles “maracatu rural" et "coco de roda”. Il hérite de la dimension profondément collective, métisse et spirituelle des musiques brésiliennes, bases de son héritage artistique.
Depuis 2003, il concentre sa pratique et sa pédagogie autour des percussions corporelles et de la corporalité du ryhtme. À São Paulo, il rencontre Keith Terry, Fernando Barba et Reinhard Flatischler, figures internationales de la musique corporelle, avec lesquels il se forme et se lie d’amitié, partageant alors une vision globale de la musique qui inclut création, transmission et recherche.
Il est également professeur certifié Taketina depuis 2022.

🇫🇷 LINE TAFOMAT est vocaliste, facilitatrice et formatrice, passionnée par le chant a capella, le groove, la pratique musicale collective, l'improvisation vocale et la pédagogie.
En France comme à l'étranger, elle intervient auprès d'artistes, de chorales, de conservatoires, de collectivités territoriales, d'associations et de particuliers de tous niveaux.
Éclectique, globe-trotteuse et polyvalente, elle développe une approche organique de la musique consolidée par les collaborations et les formations auprès d'artistes de multiples horizons artistiques dont Bobby McFerrin, Allan Wright, Musica do Circulo ou encore Laurent Kraif.

🇬🇧The POLYRHTYHM workshop is designed as a dynamic laboratory where each participant develops their listening skills, rhythmic autonomy and ability to engage in musical dialogue in contexts of improvisation and spontaneous arrangement.
Co-facilitated by Inna Onda (Line Tafomat & Mauricio Sprovieri) this POLYRHYTHM 3-day workshop is dedicated to groove lovers and rhythm nerds. It offers an immersion in the world of rhythm in all its dimensions, drawing on collective intelligence and the tools of co-improvisation. Crossing cycles, superimposing rhythmic cells, anchoring the groove in the body: the aim is to explore polyrhythm in a sensory, progressive and lively way, through the voice, body percussion, movement and collective practice. The atmosphere will be both demanding and supportive, with an emphasis on free exploration and the pleasure of musical play.
Important: this workshop is for advanced participants who are VERY CONFIDENT with basic rhythmic concepts so that they can fully enjoy the workshop (and without finding themselves in great difficulty). Please check the prerequisites for this workshop. If you have any doubts, do not hesitate to contact us to discuss it.

WHO IS THIS FOR
This workshop is aimed at singers, choristers, vocalists, musicians, performing artists and music teachers (professors, speakers, facilitators) who wish to enrich their musicality and diversify their musical offerings while consolidating their rhythmic skills (solidity of the pulse, gaining ease on the binary/ternary, refining the groove, developing body percussion, etc.).
Mandatory prerequisites:
=> having integrated the basic musical concepts, as:
- rhythm: feel the tempo instantly, keep a pulse easily, feel the cycles, feel binary AND ternary
- good ear
- singing in tune
- being able to reproduce/create a 2nd harmonised voice
=> having already practised vocal improvisation solo or in a group

FACILITATORS
🇧🇷 MAURICIO SPROVIERI is an emancipated rhythmician and a versatile percussionist. He was born in Bahia, the vibrant Brazilian Nordeste region, the cradle of capoeira, candomblé, samba-reggae, and traditional "maracatu rural" and "coco de roda" music. He has inherited the deep collective, mixed and spiritual dimension of Brazilian music, which are the foundations of his artistic heritage.
Since 2003, he concentrates his practice and his pedagogy around the body percussions and the corporality of the rhythm. In São Paulo, he has met Keith Terry, Fernando Barba, Stenio Mendes and Reinhard Flatischler, all international leaders of body music, with which he has trained and befriended, sharing a global vision of music that includes creation, transmission and research.
Since 2022, he is also a certified Taketina teacher.
🇫🇷 LINE TAFOMAT is a vocalist, facilitator and teacher, with a passion for a cappella singing, groove, group music practice, vocal improvisation and pedagogy.
She works in both France and abroad with performers, choirs, music schools, communities, non-profit organizations, companies and individual singers of all levels. Versatile and eclectic, her intuitive approach to music is consolidated by collaborations with artists from a wide range of artistic backgrounds and ongoing training with Bobby McFerrin, Allan Wright, Musica do Circulo and Laurent Kraif.
