The holiday season is rolling into Versailles once again — and that means it’s time for the Santa Train! Join us for a magical journey filled with cheer, laughter, and a visit from Santa and Mrs. Claus themselves.
🌟 Train Schedule
Saturdays: 11:00 a.m. & 2:00 p.m.
Sundays: 2:00 p.m. only
Please plan to arrive 30 minutes early to check in, board, and find your seats. Trains depart right on time, and seating is open — so early arrival is the best way to keep your group together.
🎄 What to Expect
Every child will get to visit with Santa on board while our friendly conductors, car hosts, and special guests keep the spirit bright with plenty of festive fun. Sit back and enjoy the scenic winter countryside, then finish your trip with candy canes for everyone before Santa waves goodbye and heads back to the North Pole!
🚻 Good to Know
Collect your tickets from the ticket counter inside the museum when you arrive
Restrooms are located at the station, but NOT on the train.
The ride lasts about 90 minutes.
The train is handicap-accessible, and standard wheelchairs fit in our coach cars.
The Santa Train does not stop at the Kentucky River Overlook like our regular excursion trains do. Passengers remain on the train for the entire journey.
Parking: After crossing the tracks into the museum grounds, you’ll find a large lot on the left.
