Join Elizabeth Braatz, a UW-Madison PhD Student studying pollinator conservation, on a guided walk/sit to look at the world
through a bug’s eye through a guided pollinator walk!

We’ll cover bee biology, some of the amazing adaptations and
many species of bees, and how to look for the endangered Rusty patched bumble bee.

 Participants should bring:
● Camera/camera phone
● Comfortable clothes/footwear for a short walk (or sit will have chairs and shade tent!)

About Elizabeth:
Elizabeth has a Master’s in Entomology from the University of
Florida and five years of experience with pollinator conservation
programs at Disney Conservation Fund. Today, she is pursuing a
PhD at UW-Wisconsin on pollinator conservation and coordinates
the WI Department of Natural Resources Bumble Bee Brigade, a
statewide citizen science project that YOU can get involved in.
More importantly, she’s excited to meet you, hear about your
experiences with the wonderful world of insects, and talk bugs!
