The rules are simple: 4 Donuts. 4 Laps. 1 Mile.
Each participant will complete a full mile on the track. Before starting the first lap, runners will eat a donut. After the first lap, participants are required to eat a donut before starting the next lap. Repeat this until you’ve completed four laps.
For your safety, you’re required to chew and swallow the whole donut before beginning to run again. And yes, we will have referees to make sure you’ve consumed the whole thing!
To make things more interesting, when you check in, we'll ask you for a predicted finish time. With that in mind, we advise not wearing a watch or timing devices. If you need to log it for Strava (Strava or it didn't happen, right?), we’ll tape over top of the device to make sure it’s not visible.
Awards will be given to (but not limited to):
- Fastest overall time
- Closest to their predicted time
But don’t worry, there will be plenty of other fun raffles!
ASICS will have the NEW Metaspeed Sky Tokyo and Novablast 5 for participants to demo during the event.
**Eating donuts and then running not your thing? No problem! Come run an open mile and trial shoes. We will include a non-donut mile heat too!
