Across the U.S, the No Kings movement has drawn millions into the streets in peaceful, disciplined demonstrations demanding an end to cruelty, overreach, and the escalating abuses carried out under the Trump Administration; from mass immigration raids to threats of invoking the Insurrection Act. Organizers nationwide are doubling down on safety, de‑escalation, and community protection, building real infrastructure to keep people safe while we exercise our rights.
On March 28, Indian River County adds its voice.
Why We’re Showing Up
-Because everyday people are appalled by the violence, the fear tactics, and the attacks on our neighbors by ICE
-Because attempts to suppress dissent have only generated more dissent.
-Because we refuse to accept a future shaped by white‑nationalist ambitions or unchecked executive power.
-Because we believe in defending our communities together.
This is a non-violent action. As such, we urge everyone to be an active participant in ensuring it remains so. There will be counterprotestors and agitators, some who are there solely with the intention of getting people arrested. Please ignore them and encourage the people around you to do the same.
If you witness any escalations whether it involves protestors, agitators, or law enforcement, please record from a safe distance if you are able. You can submit incident reports, including video/photos at:

There will be trained organizers on site identifiable by vests and nametags. We encourage you to bring any developments to their attention while prioritizing recording.
Please stand 3 feet from the curb and encourage those around you to do so. This is for your own safety. Ron Desantis has declared that protestors can be hit for “self defense” if they are surrounding a car and the driver feels threatened.
