The hike is around 2.5 miles, however, there is a beautiful boardwalk through a cypress slough about ½ mile from the parking area that you can stop and explore instead of doing the full hike, which will loop back around to the boardwalk.Duration of trip: 3.5 hoursWalking distance (if applicable): 2.5 milesDegree of difficulty: mostly easy-to slightly moderate. Please bring water and a protein bar if needed.Where to meet: Parking area at the gate at Fort Drum. Please use Google maps to get an idea of the location of Rt. 60.
