The 32nd Annual Sunshine Festival! As six city blocks in Downtown Vernon, are transformed into a vehicle-free playground for children and adults. Speaking of vehicles: it's FREE PARKING DAY, all meters are free (on June 20th). The 32nd Annual Sunshine Festival is a FREE event, that takes place from 10am-5pm on 30th Ave. This festival will showcase our own downtown businesses and a some outside vendors. Play games, meet mascots, listen to live music, find new treasures, eat, dance, shop and so much more! **We have some NEW SURPRISES in store for you and the kids!** Grab the squad and bask under the Okanagan sun (or cloud) with these attractions and more, sprinkled throughout the event. - The Food Zone consists of food trucks, picnic tables w/umbrellas, chairs under a large tent, the main stage for bands (on every hour from 10am - 5pm) and more. We will also have food vendors throughout. - Children's activities can be found in The Kids Zone (the 2900 block).
