Grief is love meeting change.

It can arise through the ending of a relationship, a change in health, the loss of a dream, burnout, a move, an empty nest, estrangement, a shift in identity, the loss of belonging, or the quiet sorrow of realizing that life has changed in ways you never expected.

Sometimes we know exactly what we're grieving. Sometimes we simply know that something inside us feels different.

Whatever form your grief has taken, you don't have to carry it alone.

This one-day retreat offers a safe, compassionate and spacious place to land —a day to slow down, be witnessed in community, reconnect with yourself, and gently explore what your grief may be asking of you.

There is no expectation to have your grief figured out. No timeline. No need to tell a story you aren't ready to share.

You are welcome to simply come as you are.

This will be a spacious, gently held day combining:

Wisdom Teachings
Exploring grief as a natural response to change, transition, love and loss.

Embodied Practices
Gentle practices to reconnect with the body and create space for what you're carrying.

Nature Connections
Time outdoors to slow down, listen, reflect and allow the natural world to become part of the experience.

Gentle Reiki-Infused Breathwork
A nurturing breathwork experience designed to support connection, release and integration.

Rituals & Ceremony
Simple, meaningful rituals to honour what has been, what is changing, and what is emerging.

Community Building & Witnessing
An intimate opportunity to be heard, supported and witnessed without judgment or comparison.

Spacious Integration
Plenty of time to rest, reflect, journal, walk, connect, or simply be.

What You Can Expect:

The day will move gently between guided teachings, embodied experiences, ceremony, time in nature, breathwork, reflection and community connection.

There will be periods of quiet and spaciousness alongside opportunities to share.

You will never be required to share anything you aren't comfortable sharing.

Our intention is to create a space where grief can be met with tenderness rather than urgency.

A place where sorrow can have a voice.

A place where you can breathe.

A place where you can remember that you are still held by life, even when something within your life has changed.

A Shared Mid-Day Meal

A mid-day potluck meal will be shared together, creating time to nourish ourselves and connect informally with one another.

Snacks will also be provided throughout the day.

Please bring a dish to contribute to the shared meal if you are able.

Who Is This Retreat For?

This day is for anyone carrying grief, sorrow or the weight of significant change.

You may be experiencing:

This day is an invitation to let yourself be supported and to experience the gentle medicine of being witnessed, held in community, and reminded that you don't have to navigate life's difficult transitions by yourself.

And for those who feel called to continue, this retreat will also serve as a gentle introduction to Sacred Grief Ceremonies, our bi-weekly closed circle beginning the following week on Sunday October 4th.
