at the Vernon Performing Arts Centre on Saturday, April 17, 2026 with True Story—Canada’s first-ever touring Rockumentary. This groundbreaking show blends live rock performance with stunning cinematics and storytelling, taking audiences on an intimate, high-energy musical and visual journey through Darby’s 48-year career.
As the original powerhouse frontwoman of the iconic ‘80s rock band The Headpins, Darby has sold over one million records worldwide, earning six recording contracts, nine album releases, four gold records, one platinum, and one double platinum certifications, along with three Juno nominations, and was honored to be a presenter at the Junos in 1983.
Now, she’s bringing her story to life—not just in Vernon, but across Canada. True Story is set to tour softseater theatres nationwide, giving fans everywhere the chance to experience this one-of-a-kind rock event.
