Join local author, teacher, and friend of Perceptions Elisabeth Hegmann for this fall creative writing class for adults: Spooky Tales Revisited. Elisabeth is back and has new material and insights as to how to craft the perfect ghostly story.
The class begins Thursday, September 4th and will continue to meet every Thursday for five consecutive weeks with the last class of the series on October 2nd. All classes will take place upstairs at Perceptions in Vernon on Thursdays from 6 to 7:30 pm.
Class Description: Here’s a second chance to explore the art of creating spooky tales. We’ll explore fictional stories as well as real-life, nostalgic tales and feelings surrounding this time of year.
The suggested donation is $40 - $50 for the series ($10 per class).
About Your Instructor: Elisabeth has a B.A. in writing from Indiana University and an M.F.A. in fiction from North Carolina State University. She is the author of Modus Perfectus, a collection of interrelated, musically themed short stories, and has written numerous slipstream stories and novellas, as well as librettos for musical stage works. Her work has been published in a variety of journals, produced on regional stages, and won several small awards.
