- **Event Description**: Vernon Township Clean Communities will host a Bulky Waste CleanUp Day on Saturday May 16, 2026 from 8:00 am - 4:00 pm at the DPW complex.  Free of Charge and Open to Vernon Township residents ONLY- proof of residency is required, such as a driver's license or utility bill for verification.

Bulky items that will be accepted include the following:

* tires (no tires accepted on rims)

* furniture

* mattresses

* carpets

Residents are allowed four (4) tires per household which must be removed from rims. NO electronics, construction debris or hazardous waste items will be accepted.

Brush will be accepted at this time free of charge, however, it must be separated from bulky waste items.  Leaves will not be accepted.

Residents are required to unload vehicles.  DPW employees will be available to assist residents if needed.
