Join our autumn gathering combining SCA court, Middle Eastern-style feast, firelight, and community. Activities include archery, armored & rapier tourneys, Helgaball, a bellydance & drumming workshop, youth games, crafts, and a bardic competition held in the open-air teahouse tradition. Their Royal Majesties will open and close court, honoring art and valor. As dusk falls, enjoy lantern-lit night games, a roaring bonfire, and drumming under the crescent moon. Black Lotus Coffee may be on site, selling Turkish coffee and specialty drinks from their tent, pending availability. Merchants welcome! Please contact the Autocrat.

Starting from Main Street & Vernal Avenue (Downtown Vernal):
Head west on Main Street (US-40) for 5 blocks.
Turn right (north) onto 500 West.
Continue on 500 West until it curves west and becomes 500 North.
Stay on 500 North, passing through the stoplights, past the high school, and the 7-Eleven.
Turn right (north) onto 3500 West, heading toward Dry Fork Canyon.
Follow 3500 West into the mouth of the canyon.
Around 4250 North, look for signs marked “Remember the Maine Park” on the right-hand side. There will be SCA signage to guide you in.
Approximate drive time: 10–12 minutes from downtown Vernal.

This is a discreetly wet site.
Leashed pets are allowed; please clean up after your pets.
There is access to Ashley Creek in the woods. Water flow should be low at this time, but supervision of small children is necessary.

Feast information: The feast will include hummus, baba ghanoush, flatbread and pita, stuffed grape leaves, both vegetarian and meat filled, spanakopita, devils on horseback, dried fruits, savory and candied nuts, kalamata and green olives, cheese cubes and feta, a veggie tray, falafel, baklava, shortbread cookies, rosewater lemonade, pomegranate punch, mint and black tea and possibly the Black Lotus Coffee Tent with Turkish Coffee and specialty drinks.
