French Creek Theatre presents The Cleveland Shakespeare Festival’s production of “The Comedy of Errors”. Shakespeare’s The Comedy of Errors is a fast-paced farce fueled by mistaken identities and runaway confusion. Two sets of identical twins, separated at birth, unknowingly converge in the same city, setting off a chain reaction of comic misunderstandings. Servants are confused for masters, wives claim the wrong husbands, and every attempt at explanation only deepens the chaos. Packed with slapstick humor, sharp wordplay, and escalating mishaps, the play races toward a joyful resolution as long-lost families are finally reunited in one of Shakespeare’s most lighthearted and laugh-filled endings.

The Cleveland Shakespeare Festival presents free, professional outdoor productions across Greater Cleveland to make live theater accessible to all. By performing in community spaces, the Festival welcomes audiences who may not visit traditional venues, offering engaging interpretations of classic works.
