???????Big Bang Astronomy Club of Regional Community Science Center, Rajkot, Gujarat is organizing a National Level Amateur Astronomers Conference and a Professional-Amateur meet. 

This center is catalyzed by Gujarat Council on Science and Technology (GUJCOST), Dept. of Science and Technology, Govt. of Gujarat. 

GUJCOST is also the co-organizer for this meet which is to be held at Bhojde- Gir, a village 3 km inside forest near Sasan-Gir, the only abode of the Asiatic Lions.,the location, which is the regular site for Big Bang Astronomy Club's Gir Star Party every year, has pristine dark skies going down to Bortle-3.

      This meet is intended to bring together amateur astronomers and representatives of astronomy clubs from across India on a common platform. It seeks to facilitate the exchange of their activities, experiences, and insights, fostering collaboration and mutual learning within the astronomical community.

          This 2 day 1 night event will have expert lectures, participant presentation sessions, a night sky-gazing session and an interaction session with a professional astronomer. A pro-am meet bridges the gap between professional and amateur astronomers, fostering collaboration and shared discoveries. Such interactions enrich scientific research while inspiring a wider community to actively contribute to the field.

In a nutshell, this conference is a unique opportunity for amateur astronomers, astronomy enthusiasts and even people who are just starting out in sky-watching to meet like minded people, get inspired by them and enjoy the night sky from one of the darkest part of the country.

REGISTRATIONS ARE OPEN.  Registration fees shall include conference fees, food and stay for the duration of the conference and has been highly subsidized by GUJCOST to make it affordable to almost anyone.
