This small preserve straddles an ephemeral section of Canada Larga Creek, and is a great spot for beginner birders.Hats are strongly recommended and water is a good idea, as of course, are binoculars. Beginners are strongly encouraged to participate and all are welcome.Kris has led more than 500 bird-walks in Ventura and Los Angeles Counties and has seen almost 800 species in the United States - 117 at VLT's Harmon Canyon alone.Parking: There will be limited free parking in the preserve and along the street.
