Eddie was a founder member of the Fell Running Association (FRA) having Membership No. 2.

The event is organised by Ryde Harriers and Ventnor Fell Running Championship Association.

Please note that under FRA Rules GPS is not allowed for Navigation (but ok as a safety backup) and Walking Poles are not allowed.

Isle Of Wight Fell Running Championship Series:
Run under FRA Rules and is organised in association with Ventnor Fell Running Association.
Incorporating the SEAA Fell Running Championships. At Ventnor, Isle Of Wight.

Minimum age: In accordance with F.R.A. rules.
Race 1 – 13 years at 31 Dec
Races 2 and 3 – 19 years at 31 Dec

Race 1: The St Boniface Fell (AS), 3.8km – 235m ascent.
Start Time: 11:00 Saturday
Race 2: The Ventnor Horseshoe (BM), 12km – 443m ascent.
Start Time: 15:00 Saturday
Race 3: The Wroxall Round (CL), 21km – 487m ascent.
Start Time: 10:00 Sunday (Earlier start to normal)
