Gli Artichokes sono una combustione sonora spontanea nata sulle rive del mare.
Un trio che si fa portatore di un suono in continua ricerca di un difficile equilibrio fra
immediatezza e sperimentazione, fra genuinità e ricercatezza, fra razionalità e puro 
istinto.
Il risultato è un fiore infuocato dalle varie sfumature che fra distorsioni aggressive e
sognanti, linee di basso eleganti ed incisive, ritmi avvolgenti epoche semplici parole 
cerca di illuminare, plasmare e colorare i paesaggi sonori attorno ad esso.
Gli Artichokes nascono ad Imperia nel 2014. Sono composti da Anthony D’Aguì alla 
chitarra e voce, Lorenzo Archimede Lanteri alla batteria e Andrea De Thomatis al basso 
ed elettronica varia.
Ad oggi hanno pubblicato due lavori in studio, “A Whis Is” e “Flashbulbs” e stanno
attraversando l’ennesima estenuante fase compositiva per arrivare finalmente al terzo 
album, del quale stanno iniziando a presentare alcuni brani inediti dal vivo.
L’attività live li ha portati a suonare in diversi locali e festival in Italia ed Europa.
