Create a vibrant tropical Mandarin fish with colorful intricate patterns. Learn how to layer washes, blend bright tropical colors, and add simple decorative patterns to create a unique underwater masterpiece.Explore watercolor techniques such as puddling, wet-on-wet, glazing, and wet-on-dry. Paint a fish without a background or surrounded by soft coral and sea plants. All artistic levels are welcome. All materials included.

Artist Janessa Tamsett : An entrepreneurial, savvy, natural leader with over 25 years of professional and private art business experience. Janessa’s believes that creating art should be just as rewarding as the final product. While technique can be learned and practiced, any act of creative expression is good for the soul. Letting go of the learned habits of negative self-talk, and relaxing into a childlike freedom of expression is rewarding and fun. She began an after-school art enrichment program, Academy of Art LLC in 2004 and operates all facets of the business including: client relations, curriculum development, financial, instruction and marketing. She has taught her Academy of Art curriculum throughout Denver and Western Florida to preschoolers through adult students. 

Classes are non-refundable because we have limited space and the artists need to prepare. You can find another person to take your seat if you are unable to attend.
