- **Event Description**: The University of New Hampshire Concert Choir has a long history of providing outstanding performance opportunities, artistic excellence, and lifelong friendships, uniting students from all majors who share a passion for singing. Under the excellent direction of many fine conductors, this ensemble has continued its rich tradition over the past eight decades, becoming the longest running choral ensemble on campus.  Currently under the direction of Dr. Amy Kotsonis, Concert Choir fosters community-building, cooperation, harmony and creative expression among participants of diverse backgrounds and skills, with the human voice being the common denominator. This ensemble is an inclusive community of fantastic humans who love to sing.  
 
The mission of the Community Chorus at South Berwick (CCSB) is to promote choral music, enrich community life in the greater Seacoast area with fine choral repertoire, provide singers and area musicians with the opportunity to perform and expand their musical knowledge and experience, and engage the arts community as active and visible participants.  CCSB was founded in 1975 by Dianne Colby Dean, and has had only three other directors during its 50 year history: Dr. Harry Moon, Dr. Nicolás Dosman, and is now under the direction of Dr. Amy Kotsonis. Members hail from both Maine and New Hampshire, representing 25 different towns in the seacoast area. CCSB strives for the highest standards of musical artistry in an environment of respect, inclusivity, and collaboration, committed to expanding and enriching its community connections. 
 
Both choirs are thrilled to embark to Italy this winter on their first international tour in almost a decade, and to share their voices and passion for choral singing with Italian audiences.
