Mote-ivational Science Lectures are back and we're expanding them in both size and scope, adding a new series serving the Venice and South Sarasota County communities! Listen as Mote scientists take the stage to share their latest findings, innovations and fieldwork — from coral reef research and marine animal health to red-tide breakthroughs, sustainable fisheries and so much more.
This season’s lectures will take place in Venice, Sarasota, and Boca Grande, allowing us to share our research throughout Southwest Florida!
📍 South County Lectures will take place in person at the Venice Community Center. Attendees are invited to enjoy a pre-lecture reception at 5:00 p.m., featuring light refreshments, and lectures begin at 6:00 p.m.
