Ultimo appuntamento con le gite di Tavole Conviviali.Un viaggio in barchino verso l'Isola delle Rose (Sacca Sessola), che per generazioni è stata vita comune dei veneziani — oggi occupata da un hotel di lusso, ma il cui parco resta suolo pubblico per diritto, anche se sempre meno persone lo ricordano. Questo diritto lo andremo a esercitare: sbarcare, restare, rivendicare.Accompagnati dalla poeta Wissal Houbabi, ascolteremo l'Aïta — tradizione marocchina di poesia cantata che racconta di donne, invasioni e resistenze. Tra le storie, Wissal condividerà anche la storia di Nairiya, donna che vide arrivare i francesi nel suo villaggio e marchiò con l'henné chi si ritirava dalla lotta.Parleremo anche di cibo, di schisce, di ciò che ci si porta appresso e di ciò che si lascia andare. Pensieri e parole in divenire, il cui risultato finale rimarrà ignoto fino al 19 settembre in Campo San Lorenzo.❗ IMPORTANTE  ❗Per poter partecipare alla gita del 14 Luglio è fondamentale completare l’iscrizione a Fie a Manetta con successo entro il 9 Luglio, perché solo così sarete assicurati/e. In caso contrario saremo costretti a riassegnare il vostro posto.Registrazione qui.-We're taking a barchino to Isola delle Rose (Sacca Sessola), an island Venetians had shared for generations, where a luxury hotel now stands. The park, however, is public land, although fewer and fewer people are aware of that. We're going to remind them and us all. We will land, stay, reclaim our right by spending time and doing poetry.We will be joined by poet Wissal Houbabi, who will guide a listening of Aïta — Moroccan sung poetry about love and resistance. We will learn about Nairiya, a woman who, allegedly, watched the French march into her village and marked with henna every man who turned away from the fight.We'll also talk about food, about “schisce” abd about what we carry and what we leave behind. Words will take shape, their final form unknown until 19 September in Campo San Lorenzo.❗ IMPORTANT❗To take part in the July 14 gita, you must complete your Fie a Manetta registration by July 9, as this is the only way to be properly insured. Otherwise, we'll have to reassign your spot.Register here.
