- **Event Description**: Diiscover and test innovative sustainable materials for cultural heritage conservationAbout this EventThis practical hands-on workshop is dedicated to testing and evaluating the cleaning and stabilisation materials developed within the GoGreen.The GoGreen Project aims to promote more sustainable practices in the conservation of cultural heritage by developing and assessing innovative cleaning, consolidation and stabilisation materials with reduced environmental impact. Through scientific research, laboratory testing and practical validation, the project supports conservators in selecting effective and environmentally responsible conservation solutions while fostering the adoption of greener restoration practices. This practical hands-on workshop is dedicated to testing and evaluating the cleaning and stabilisation materials developed within the GoGreen Project.The workshop will take place at the Università Internazionale dell’Arte in Venice and will provide participants with the opportunity to directly apply and assess innovative conservation materials on representative case studies under the guidance of project partners. The event will also serve as a forum for discussion on practical experiences, material performance, sustainability aspects and best practices in cultural heritage conservation.
