You are invited to bring donations of food for a food drive to benefit Thanksgiving baskets and the Backpack program for families with school-aged children - see the attached list of items needed. 
"Sew For a Cause" from St. Bridget's Center will be there with an information table; as well as the Vassalboro Ministry Fuel Assistance Program. Also, some volunteers from the Vassalboro Food Station Pantry will be at the event selling crafts to help financially support that mission. 
VUMC will have crafts for sale in addition to those delicious cookies - and be sure .to grab some of our famous beans and biscuits "To Go"  for your supper after a day of shopping!!
