Join Kathy Downs on Thursday, November 20th from 10:00–1:00 for a sparkling morning of creativity! In this fun and festive class, you’ll design and decorate three beautiful six-pointed wire snowflake ornaments, each one uniquely embellished with your choice of glass, stone, and metal beads.
Explore a shimmering selection of winter-inspired colors — crisp whites, icy blues, elegant silvers, and warm golds — to create ornaments that shine with your own personal style.
No experience is needed — just bring your holiday spirit and a love for handmade beauty! You’ll leave class with three finished snowflake ornaments, ready to decorate your tree, gift to loved ones, or add a touch of winter magic to your home.

Kathy Downs discovered her passion for glass art in 2011 when she and her family moved to the Quantico, VA area. Initially her small glass pieces were unique gifts for family and friends but as her collection and skills grew, she started selling her glass to fund her "glass" habit! She now creates both large and small fused glass in her home-based studio and, with 38 years of eduction experience, she enjoys teaching and mentoring aspiring glass artists through her fused glass classes at ARTworks Vass!

Beginners are welcome.
Children age 14 and older may attend class independently.
Children under age 14 may join this class if a responsible adult also registers to attend and participate with them.
Registration allows for one Guest per class project.
Only Registered Guests may attend class.
Registrations are non-refundable and cannot be rescheduled.
Class starts promptly as scheduled.
Dress to mess or bring an apron.
Closed toe shoes are recommended.
