Watercolor "Dabs" Class with Beth Bale at ARTworks Vass

Ready to loosen up and let your creativity flow?

Join Beth Bale on Saturday, Jan. 10th from 9:00 to 12:00 for three joyful hours of watercolor exploration as she shares her “Dabs” technique — a playful, expressive approach she’s perfected over the years.

If you already have some watercolor experience and want to try something fresh, this class is for you! And if you simply love color, texture, and the magic of watching watercolor come to life, you’ll feel right at home too. Expect plenty of laughter, experimentation, and insider tips from Beth as you create your own vibrant, one-of-a-kind artwork.

Beth will demonstrate the technique before you practice and complete your own painting. You can paint Beth's subject which will be a Waterscape, or you can bring your own photo!

Come ready to play, paint, and be inspired!

Supplies: Beth will provide paint, paper, brushes and palettes. Please bring 2 water containers, a painting board, masking tape, pencil, eraser, and paper towels/cloth towels.

Beth is an experienced painter and teacher with decades of watercolor painting knowledge and is an encouraging and fun instructor. She is a signature member of the Watercolor Society of NC and shows her work at several regional galleries including right here at ARTworks Vass. Beth usually paints the subjects close to her heart, such as her own horses, chickens, farm, cats, dogs and the beautiful NC landscape and flora. She is a believer in the adage "Paint what you know the best".

Beginners welcome!
Children age 14 and older may attend class independently.
Registration allows for one Guest per class project.
Only Registered Guests may attend class.
Registrations are non-refundable and cannot be rescheduled.
Class starts promptly as scheduled.
Dress to mess or bring an apron.
At ARTworks Vass, you're always welcome to bring your own Nibbles and Sips to class.
