Kathy Downs discovered her passion for glass art in 2011 when she and her family moved to the Quantico, VA area. Initially her small glass pieces were unique gifts for family and friends but as her collection and skills grew, she started selling her glass to fund her "glass" habit! She now creates both large and small fused glass in her home-based studio and, with 38 years of education experience, she enjoys teaching and mentoring aspiring artists through her fused glass and kid's classes at ARTworks Vass!
