Zine Making Workshop

Calling all zine lovers! Join me for a hands-on experience where you'll create your very own zine from start to finish. Whether you're a seasoned zine maker or a complete beginner, this workshop is designed to accommodate all skill levels.

During the workshop, we'll explore the fundamentals of zine construction, including layout and content creation. You'll be free to express your creativity and make a zine on any topic that inspires you. Need some inspiration? I'll provide examples to spark your imagination and showcase the diverse possibilities of zine-making.

Leave your computers and tablets behind as we embrace the tactile experience of making. With pen, paper, and your own hands, you'll create your very own zine from scratch.

Once your zine is complete, we'll take it a step further by printing 20 copies on the Riso. You'll be in the driver's seat, choosing any 2 of the available colours, scanning your masters and swapping out the colour drums. By the end of the night, you'll be a Certified Riso Master and be able to book studio time for printing even more zines! After printing it's time to assemble. You'll be given a step-by-step guide on how to properly cut and fold your zines. And in the spirit of zine culture, I always like to recommend a zine swap at the end of the workshop!

• Up to 3 days before the event: Full refund* or credit for a future workshop.
• Less than 3 days but more than 24 hours notice: Credit for a future workshop.
• Unfortunately, with less than 24 hours notice, no refunds or rescheduling can be offered.
