In addition to hearing from Columbia Land Trust and some of their partners, we'll also get to hear from the Oregon Bird Alliance and one of Metro's wildlife biologists. The goal will be to leave room for discussion, including such topics as; is native vegetation necessary to restore bird habitat, how to reduce impacts during the primary nesting season, and using avian surveys to guide management.While there will be covered space at this event, please dress for cold, wet, weather, and be ready to walk on muddy, uneven terrain.A portable toilet will be available.
