What to expect: Step into an iconic night of raw emotion, rhythm, and glamour with Victoria Raskin at Performance Works. Expect a multimedia and multi-disciplinary show with dancers hiding in the audience, umbrella's with fairy lights, big fancy ostrich feather fans, a band, lots of singing and dancing. There will be a mix of released and unreleased original pop songs by Victoria Raskin as well as a few covers. Expect heels. Expect music. Expect a magical night.
There will be an active bar when doors open throughout the night and a 20-30 minute intermission with exclusive hadnmade merch available at the lobby.

A bit about the artist: Victoria’s velvety, dramatic voice, powerful stage presence, and evocative storytelling are a central driving force of her shows. She loves dance, theatre/film, and performing which has led her to self-produce this show. With the help of volunteers, a choreographer and dancers, a lovely band, and additional backstage crew and staff, we promise to deliver an ICONIC experience at Performance Works, Granville Island. Local to Vancouver, Victoria is excited to push the boundaries of what indie artists do in town and what kind of shows they put on. This isn't like other shows in Vancouver.
You may have seen her perform at Khatsahlano Street Party, at Trees Cafe, local mics, or shake it up a little at her mom's operatic concerts. Her music has amassed over 83K streams across platforms and this is her debut self-produced show. With Armenian fire, French chic, and Latin flavours, heels choreography, and a touch of cabaret noir, this one-of-a-kind performance will blur the line between concert and theatre, making it intimate, bold, and unforgettable. Featuring her 7 released singles: New Girl (out in November), Rise, Barcelona, Mr. Law Abiding Citizen, Medea, Throw A Party (Rum Pa Ra Pa Pum), and Takin' Your Heart (Speed It Up).
