They have been leading kirtan for decades, steeped in the Babi Hari Das tradition, of whom the Saltspring Centre of Yoga philosophy is based on.

Along with sharing kirtan, they will be sharing their personal stories of meeting Baba Hari Dass and life as one of his students. Very interesting for spiritual seekers, I imagine.

Mantras are positive uplifting names and phrases which awaken the inner light and love within yourself. Kirtan uses repetitive chanting with music to foster that awakening.

Powerful mantras, heart-centred people, enlivening nature - what a recipe for wholesomeness and healing! Come and join us for an uplifting evening of sacred music, singing, potluck, and community building.

Open Door Yoga on East 14th and Main street! 7:15pm start.

Bring a snack if you want to socialize afterwards. Please label it appropriately (meat, vegan, veggie).

Chanters, new and experienced are welcome. For lovers of kirtan, VCK goal is to offer a space for people to enjoy the blessings and gifts of kirtan.

$15 cash/card to support sponsorship of children's education in India and the continuation of Vancouver Community Kirtan.
